Avocado dip
Ingredients
- 1 Avocado
- Lemon juice from a lemon or a bottle
- Low fat cream cheese
- Parsley chopped or chives (herbs are tasty but optional)
- Small teaspoon of cumin or chilli if desired
Ideas to serve:
- As a dip with carrot sticks or wholegrain or wholemeal toasted bread strips cut to look like bread sticks
- On toast
- On a burger bun as a sauce
- Can add to soup for a creamy taste
To Make
- Place all the ingredients in a blender
- Blend until smooth
Useful Tip
The lemon juice helps stop the avocado from going brown
