Avocado dip


  • 1 Avocado
  • Lemon juice from a lemon or a bottle
  • Low fat cream cheese
  • Parsley chopped or chives (herbs are tasty but optional)
  • Small teaspoon of cumin or chilli if desired


Ideas to serve:

  • As a dip with carrot sticks or wholegrain or wholemeal toasted bread strips cut to look like bread sticks
  • On toast
  • On a burger bun as a sauce
  • Can add to soup for a creamy taste

To Make

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender
  • Blend until smooth

Useful Tip

The lemon juice helps stop the avocado from going brown
